The Aim of Weight Management Strategies is to provide a comprehensive overview for fitness professionals of the science and application of weight management techniques for effective fat loss.

Objectives: By the end of the course attendees should be able to:

  1. Understand the scientific concepts of weight gain, and methods of how to avoid these pitfalls.
  2. Understand effective methods for fat loss using a variety of cardiovascular and resistance training protocols.
  3. Understand how to manipulate a client’s diet to ensure effective fat loss.
  4. Gain an understanding of some alternative methods commonly used nowadays for fat loss and weight management, and the pros and cons associated with these.
